Constellations 1.0 - Suite for String Quartet and Electronics

Constellations 1.0, for String Quartet and Electronics, was inspired from my recent musical trip to Fiji in 2018. Looking up at the stars on a clear evening made me realise that every constellation has a different character and thus can be expressed in music. From beginning my piano studies I came across June Armstrong’s Stars for piano. The music depicts the characters of each constellation well, however I wanted to write a suite that utilize the sonic and instructive benefits of string instruments. I originally wrote the music back in 2019 but I have only recently recorded it professionally and modified sections of the work. It is now a work to be accompanied to videographics, click-track and electronics in the 4th movement.
